Opportunities for Starting-up – Delegation on Entrepreneurship
Objective It aims to provide opportunities for Macao higher education students who are facing with further studies, employment and entrepreneurship, as well as to enhance their understanding of the support for youth entrepreneurship in the Greater Bay Area, helping them obtain more information before planning their future development.

Target Participants
  1. Students who are attending higher education programmes in Macao;
  2. Macao students who are attending higher education programmes outside Macao;
  3. Macao residents who have completed higher education programme between 2020 and November 2021.
Location Macao, Hengqin, Zhongshan, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Foshan, Shenzhen and Huizhou.
Period of Registration Up to April 22, 2021
Registration You can make your registration on this webpage and, in the meantime, upload the following documents:
  1. Photocopy of the valid Identity Card (front and back)
  2. Photocopy of the valid student card (front and back) or photocopy of the graduation certificate

Note: The size of each uploaded document must be less than or equal to 1MB
Selection Computer ballot will be conducted based on the proportions of students in different regions.
Results Announcement On or before Late-June, 2021 on the activity webpage
(The admitted students will be informed via e-mail.)
Submission of supplementary documents The admitted students must submit the following information to Centre for Higher Education Students or by mail within 3 working days after being notified:
1. Photocopy of a valid Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents or photocopy of a valid Exit-Entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macau (showing the front and back sides);
2. Declaration
Note: The above documents may be submitted via a designated person with a certificate of entrustment signed by the admitted student. Those who fail to submit the documents before the deadline are deemed to have abandoned the pursuit of admission.

Fees Free of charge
(Participants must bear their own cost of the nucleic acid test required to travel to Mainland China.)

  • The admitted students must attend the preparatory meeting and the closing meeting organized by DSEDJ.

  • The admitted students must present a valid nucleic acid test report with negative result before departure.
  • Participants are required to submit a report of their experiences to DSEDJ within 10 working days after the completion of the activity. For one-day itinerary, the report should not be less than 500 words. For itineraries which lasted for more than one day, the report should not be less than 1000 words (could be written in Chinese, English or Portuguese).
  • Participants have to pay attention to the latest disease prevention measures of the destination and Macao.
Note
  • The student must ensure that participating in this activity will not affect his/ her regular academic course arrangements.
  • The activity may be postponed or canceled due to the situation of Novel coronavirus pneumonia.
